Lisa is the terror of the midfield, closing down like a cheetah

Lisa ("The Beast") attacks from behind, pokes the ball free, and retrieves it.

With the game tied at 1-1 near the end of the first half, Lisa strips the ball near the halfway line and jets forward.

Streaking upfield, the Spokane players can't match her dribbling pace.   She ends up getting off a powerful shot which the keeper can only parry.

Her teammate, Hiroko Kanno, pounces on the deflected ball, and knocks in the winning goal.
